Hooray – it’s Easter Weekend, and we all love an Easter Egg Hunt don’t we?
So, we’ve hidden 6 eggs on our website for you to find…
Enter today for your chance to win an eggcellent Eglu Go Chicken Coop worth $495.00.
There will also be 5 runners up prizes of our lovely egg ramps
– the must have kitchen accessory.
All you have to do is visit our website
and look for the 6 eggs that we have hidden. Each egg that you find will have a number on it – once you’ve found all 6, add up the numbers and this will give you the winning number.
For example if the eggs were numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 then adding these together gives 21. This is the number you would enter.
The competition closes at midnight on Easter Monday (17th April) and the lucky winners will be informed on Tuesday 18th April.
Wishing you all a fun filled Easter Weekend!
Terms and conditions apply:
The competition closes at 23.59 17th April 2017. To enter please complete the competition entry page on Omlet’s website
. The main prize is an Eglu Go Chicken Coop, plus 5 runners up prizes of egg ramps. Delivery is included to US only addresses. The winners will be randomly selected and notified on Tuesday 18th April. Omlet reserve the right to withdraw the competition at any point. Prizes cannot be transferred to cash. Did you just get a new puppy who is learning the rules of the house? Maybe your dog has behavioral problems, such as chewing on shoes or furniture. Or maybe you just want an easier way to travel with your dog. If you’re in any of these situations, crate training your dog might be the best option.
Crate training can be a controversial topic, but if we look at how dogs live in the wild, we realize it is a natural method to keep your dog comfortable and calm. Dogs are naturally den animals, which means that they feel comfortable in a small area they consider safe. A crate can simulate that for your dog.
A couple of other things to consider:
Never use a crate as a form of punishment.
Pay attention to your dog’s reaction to the crate- some dogs are more averse to crates, especially rescue dogs or any dog that spent a lot of time in a cage as a puppy.
Make sure you choose a crate that is properly sized for your dog. You can buy a larger crate that your dog can grow into, just block off a section of it until your dog grows.
Below you will find a guide to crate training your dog the proper way. As with any type of training, never force your dog to do anything they are visibly uncomfortable with. Treat this as another way to bond with your dog!

We recently saw some irresistible looking caramel cupcakes on the @buttermeup.cakes Instagram account and we’ve been craving them ever since. So to celebrate #NationalCaramelDay we asked the owner and chief baker Holly Taylor for her secret recipe, see below:
115g self raising flour
115g caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
Jar of Salted caramel sauce
1 tbsp Milk
250g of unsalted butter
500g of icing sugar
1 tsp of vanilla essence
2 tbsp of salted caramel
Caramac bar for decoration
Drizzle caramel on top!
Cream butter and sugar in bowl
Then add vanilla essence
Then whisk eggs in small bowl
Add the eggs in gradually, with tablespoon of flour as you go to prevent the mix from curdling
After you’ve added all the eggs, put in the remaining flour and finally a tbsp of milk.
Then spoon into cupcake cases!
Bake 180 degrees for 12-15minutes
Makes 12 small or 9 large cupcakes.
